Blog Name: Bloody Disgusting
Blog Title: Movies Trash's Revenge’ Will Use CGI to Resurrect Two ‘Return of the Living Dead’ Actors
Blog Author: John Squires
Date Published: January 21, 2025

Brief Description:
The blog is talking about a new “meta project” called Trash Revenge, and how some of the old cast is reuniting back into this new movie. It talks about the members coming back and speaks about James Karen and Don Calfa being brought back as well with CGI as they have already both passed away IRL. It explains the controversy it caused due to the fact that it is a small budget movie and that not even a bigger budget movie like Alien: Romulus did that good of a job with the use of CGI in their movie. The bigger question is if bringing back actors who have passed away in real life is a good idea to have them be brought back, because that could have certain issues occur with that.

Why I chose this Blog:
I chose this blog because it talks about 2 of my favorite things, which is horror and CGI. It talks about one of my favorite movies that got me into the horror genre, and it brings up interesting points about actors and what their plan is for the new movie. I value that they are trying to bring back classic characters to their movie, but I believe that if there is no need for CGI then it should not be used. Firstly, it's a lot of money and most of the time it's not even perfect and it makes a movie look cheaper than it actually is. So, I am glad that the article can agree and acknowledge that it is not something that is needed and it draws me to it for that reason.
Strengths:
A good strength for this post is it has appealing pictures and even a video to watch. It has good quotations and has good facts but still keeps it simplified. The whole blog runs smoothly in general and is all a very good attention grabber. This could be taken as a logo because it appeals to the audience as well as gives evidence and reasoning to what it is trying to explain in the article. The whole site looks fun and has some cool art plus you are able to look at comments to see what other people are sharing, allowing readers to communicate is a great way to gain a loyal following that will bring more viewers in the long run. I as well see myself coming back to read their post.
Areas of Improvement:
While the blog does a good job of getting to their main point, they might also be able to add more information about the movie project and explain what is going on with that. Just because readers may not be informed about this movie and might need a little more background before being about to gain their own opinion on it. Other than that, I think everything else went smoothly and accomplished what it was trying to, it wasn't too much, and it wasn't too little.
