Brief Description:

The blog talks about setting the stage for horror, and how cinematography is used to create suspense and terror. It talks about lighting and shadows showing what techniques are used. It gets into camera angles, showing what different angles do towards horror movies and explaining their meaning to how it's used to evoke fear. It gives examples at the end of movies that have used those certain techniques and how it showcased the scare factor that it is trying to give.

Why I Chose this Blog:

The reason I chose this blog was because I found it interesting how it talks about the different types of camera shots and angles that are used. It expresses how different scenes require a different angle and how it fits with its plots. This is one of my main interests with film cinematography, and it gives great examples of movies that have amazing cinematic shots and how angels play a key role in setting the tone for a certain scene.

Strengths:

The author goes into great detail about key points while remaining on task, the point gets across smoothly and you understand what is being told. This makes it easy for me and the readers to want to read the whole thing and have knowledge stick. That's why I believe it appeals to ethos because it sticks to the point and lays out the facts without dragging it and making it too long while still making it entertaining to read.

Areas of Improvement:

As far as improvements go, I think it has good organization. But maybe it could get confused for an article more than a blog even though it does talk to the audience and has a good hook it seems like it could be looked at as both. It does a good job of providing keywords and knows the audience it is trying to reach. Plus, it does a good job of being entertaining, at least to me the way it does not have too much writing but just enough.
