It goes into detail explaining backgrounds and why the theme was significant in the film. It shows the reader how to understand these films in order to gain more of an appreciation as well as insight to what they are experiencing when watching.

Why I chose this Blog:

Reason for choosing this blog is because I like the way it is structured; it’s not a heavy read but still is filled with great information. The whole time it kept me hooked and talked about the classic horror genre which I enjoyed. It's perfect for my interest because it is analyzing themes and going deeper into classic films. The lessons being taught made me really want to pick this blog just because when you read it you can tell that it takes a whole production to make a film.

Strengths:

This blog was filled with information that would appeal to the horror audience, possibly making it a logo. It has a lot of reviews, so it definitely appealed to the audience in some sort of way. It also has key words that made this blog easy to find and fit the description that I was looking for. The information that was taught was backed up properly and was easy to understand the knowledge that they were providing. The organization was neat and had other posts on the sides to be clicked on if your attention was to be achieved, as well as has reviews too for any input. Plus, it’s more than just a blog, they have a podcast, comics, news, music, books, etc. so it carries more of a variety.

Areas of Improvement:

 This blog does not need much improvement in my eyes so it's really just some nitpicky things. It could carry a little more color to their post, maybe make it look a little less bland. The blog seems to have everything else in check, hooking titles, attention grabbers, and is targeted to the audience they want. Grammar and punctuations are good as well plus it carries featured images and is well structured.
